Stretch Marks: How to Treat Them

by Valerie Garner

Stretch marks show up when skin is stretched beyond its elastic limit. The excessive stretching can be caused by rapid growth (growth spurts), rapid weight gain and weight loss and by pregnancy. But at the end of the day, the most important thing isn't how you got them, if not, how to get rid of them.

There are several products out there that claim to be a miracle cure for stretch marks. But, don't be fooled. The only surefire way of eliminating them is through plastic surgery. If you decide to use any other option you will only minimize their appearance or cover them up, but won't remove them.

Nevertheless, surgery is not a good option for removing stretch marks in most areas. In fact, surgical intervention is only effective if you are trying to remove abdominal stretch marks that appear below the navel area. If you are interested in removing stretch marked skin from the arms and legs, then surgery is not the best option because the limbs are round and suturing could lead to puckered skin.

As you can see, surgery isn't the absolute solution to stretch marks. In order to deal with the rest of your body, you need to find viable alternatives.

So, how to get rid of stretch marks is not the question you should be asking yourself. Instead, you should spend your time looking for effective products to help reduce them. Two of the most common treatment options are microdermabrasion or stretch marks creams.

If you prefer to use a cream solution then you should look for one that contains Helix Aspersa Muller extract and rose hip oil. These types of creams use biological activators like those found in your body's own regenerative processes to eliminate stretch marks. They trigger and control the synthesis of collagen, elastin and GAGs and the replacement of flawed skin with healthy skin cells.

With regular and consistent use, a natural stretch mark cream can gently dissolve skin lesions, 'digest' flawed cells, and reduce all signs of stretch marks. By using the best stretch mark cream you can improve your skin's elasticity by destroying pathogens and triggering the regeneration of normal collagen.

Another option for the treatment of stretch marks is microdermabrasion. This process inflicts a tiny bit of "damage" to the affected area which triggers the body's immune system into action.

Essentially, this helps remove damaged cells and replace them with new cells that take their place. Just like with creams, this procedure is a slow fix that will require your patience and consistency.

BIOBODYCREAM can help rid stretch marks from your skin thanks to its natural composition. This stretch mark removal cream is made with Helix Aspersa Muller extract, a wonderful natural ingredient that can help the skin regenerate. BIOBODYCREAM can be part of a complete stretch marks treatment that includes a healthy diet and healthy daily habits.
